About
…the idea for this effort took root with the realization of a gift: that of listening carefully, attentively–not just to words uttered, but to the sense and motion in between things one might say. There’s also the joy of collaborating with another writer to express a distinct or exceptional idea–or at least articulate an idea distinctly, exceptionally.
The secret of great writing boils down to two factors: word choice and syntax (the order a writer places the words into). Also at stake is a writer’s willingness to swing open the inner gates that obstruct the outward gestures of the true, spontaneous self. The exact purpose of this creative effort is to develop the writing of so-called literary memoirs for publishing and for marketing at the broadest scope possible, short of compromising a book’s aesthetic merits.
Also worth mentioning: the ability to develop other categories of writing projects such as marketing copy (in print and online) and speeches, especially those requiring a fine-tuned rhetorical strategy to compel a specific commercial or political effect.
